Photo Time Lock - Time Delay Image Lock 2.0

The Photo Lock app with time-delay control is now available on the App Store. It supports iPhone 5 and iOS 6.0.

What is Photo Time Lock?

The Photo Time Lock app features a secure timer-locking capability, allowing users to voluntarily lock up items for a selected period, ranging from 1 minute to 365 days. This can be particularly useful for securing items that could pose a threat to one's health or life.

Scenarios:

• Gambling: An individual concerned about a gambling problem can secure gambling tools in a combination lockable container, take a picture of the code via the app, set a timer, and prevent access for a specific duration, aiding in self-restraint.
• Beer: For example, a beer drinker can limit access to alcohol by locking up a portion of their supply and setting a timer, promoting moderation and control over consumption habits.

Features:

• SECURE: The app's time verification through a remote NTP server ensures the integrity of the locking mechanism, making it resistant to tampering.
• KEYHOLDER UNLOCK: A designated keyholder with the passcode can unlock items before the timer expires if necessary, providing flexibility in accessing locked content.
• FLEXIBILITY: Users can set lock durations from 1 minute to 365 days in one-minute increments, allowing customization based on individual needs.

How to Use it?

1. Prepare a lockable container capable of holding items to be secured and scramble the combination without looking at it or have someone else do it.
2. Launch the app, create a new photo lock, capture an image of the scrambled combination without revealing it, and ensure the quality of the picture by using the thumbnail preview.
3. Select a lock duration and activate optional features like "Keyholder Unlock," then initiate the locking process. Caution: Familiarize yourself with the app's operation before proceeding.
4. The photo remains locked until the countdown expires or is unlocked by an authorized keyholder. Upon unlocking, access to the combination allows opening of the secured container.
